    Description

    This is a lovely antique satin pillow cover from Camp Drum, New York with a sweet "Mother" sentiment printed on it.
    This was a gift to his mother from a young US army soldier who was stationed there years ago and she kept it in a drawer for years, never having used it on a pillow.
    It measures 17 inches square with another 2 inches of fringe all around.
    This army camp started out as Pine Camp, then the name was changed to Camp Drum in 1951.  In 1974 the name was changed to Fort Drum and it remains that today.
