Jacques Demy's homage to, and an update on, Jean Cocteau's 1950 masterwork "Orpheus." A quintessentially 1980s Rock Opera musical with Orpheus as a French pop star, and Cocteau's Orpheus, Marais, returning as Hades, operating out of an underground parking garage. Music by Demy's long-time collaborator Michel Legrand.
