Matching Pair of Antique Cast Iron Architectural Element

Description

Matching Pair of cast iron architectural pieces, nicely cast and filigree type with lots of opened areas.  Great patina and old oxidation on the surface of the metal, circa. 1870 - 1890.  Each measures approx. 4 1/4 inches across ( at the base ), and with a height of approx. 3 1/2 inches. They appear to be corner brackets and/or braces, as there is a recessed area on the verso of each and two screw holes to attach or anchor them.  Let you imagination help create and repurpose these antique architectural elements or incorporate into your restoration project.  Estate sale find!  Sold “as found“ not cleaned.
