Vintage 1980's J Crew Men's 30" Denim Jeans Button Fly NICE CONDITION!!!

Nice pair of J Crew men's jeans from 1986-88.  Also could be for a woman?
Medium wear appears to be on the back pocket where a wallet was carried.  Or whatever he carried in his back pocket.
You can see indication that the legs were folded up one time at bottom.  Light wear there.
As for size.... the tag says 30".  But these were my son's and he typically wore a 29 x 29 at that age.
